|You will work side by side with a professional event manager to ensure your space is prepared and all arrangements are handled according to your specifications. An event managment staff member will be at your event the entire time to make sure all runs smoothly. The Conference and Facility Services staff takes pride in customer service and provides each client with unique and incomparable service. As soon as you enter your event, all the preparation before hand will be complete and to your satisfaction.

A/V and Technologies
CFS takes pride in providing up to date technology and audio visual equipment for our clients. The Charles L Sewall Center has wireless internet throughout the entire building. Many of our rooms are equipped with house sound systems; in addition we have portable sound systems that can be utilized. There are cable TV, ethernet and phone connections available in many locations. For presentations we utilize smart-carts which include an LCD projector, resident computer, DVD/ VHS player, speakers, with the ability to connect auxiliary components. In addition, we can provide flip charts, easels, podiums, overhead projectors, and microphones. For a complete list, please contact us directly. If we do not have the equipment needed for your event, we will work with you to get what you need.
Computerized registration, badging, and attendee lists can be entered in advance or during event. Please inform us if you need assistance in collecting tickets or staffing registration and information tables.
Our professional staff works year round for the Conference and Facility Services Department. All professional event staff have a minimum of a bachelors degree, with most having masters degrees. Along side our Event Managers there is a crew of Event Assistants comprised of RMU students and area interns. Our event staff aims at molding our operation and facility so your event is an extension of your organization. During events, there is an onsite staff member to assist with any last minute needs. Our attention to detail is phenomenal.

Several of the major hotels/motels are located nearby, less than five minutes away from the University. We can also provide Campus Maps and Directions.

RMU Dining Service has a qualified staff, dedicated to providing excellent food and service. If you are unsure as to menu specifics for your special event, they are pleased to put their expertise at your disposal. After you have reserved a room through Conference and Facility Services, if you have catering specific questions please contact the Catering Director. RMU Dining Service offers a wide variety of linen colors with beautiful coordinating centerpieces of fresh flowers. *(May require modest fee)
Tax is 7% and will be added to all applicable accounts. If an organization is tax exempt, a Tax Exempt Certificate must be provided. In addition, a gratuity of 17% will be charged on food and beverage service.
