Event Services for Staff, Faculty & Students


Yorktown Hall                    

Will be the primary replacement for the Sewall Center Conference level. Events and meetings requiring multiple rooms, inviting external guests, audio-visual needs above basic and student programming will be scheduled in this venue. Yorktown hall will operate 6 days a week for meetings and events to be held during the hours for 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Franklin Center                      

Will have a mini conference center under the guise to support internal meetings on campus. The focus of the building will be to support the day to day operations of the RMU campus community. Franklin Conference Center will have more limited hours of operation and will be open five days a week.

For upcoming events please submit this form. These can be returned to Becky Diana. Based on the needs of the event an appropriate university venue will be scheduled. Forms are being reviewed for events through 12/17. For events in the spring semester, we will review as appropriate.

Yorktown & Franklin Layout

This is a guideline for maximum standard layouts, please reach out to CFS management to discuss any event particulars as desired. Portable sound systems will be available only in Yorktown Hall. Please note Franklin has stairs and is not ADA compliant.

The RMU Catering Department is committed in bringing the RMU Community an exceptional culinary experience during construction of the new UPMC Event Center. The catering website, and internal menu/ordering
guide have been updated to better assist during this period. Call the Catering Department or email to assist with planning event menus.
